MISSION: To educate God’s people with the Word of God.
The Maturity Purpose Team exists to teach the B.I.B.L.E. to ALL in order to learn how to BLESS the Lord (Magnification); INVEST in the lives of others through serving (Ministry); nurturing others to discipleship and becoming practicing BELIEVERS (Maturity); promoting LOVE for one another (Membership) and tell others about the EXCHANGE of a purposeless life for a purposeful life in Christ (Missions).
Bible Institute exists to provide instruction on specific issues/concerns from a biblical perspective in order to aid in developing a biblical world-view and response for living the Christian life in the 21st century. To aid in the development of a Christian mind-set built upon God’s purposes and design for His Church and Kingdom.
Education Ministry exists to proactively teach/present the Word of God in a diversity of format structures such as Conference, Retreats, and Seminars with the goal of remaining relevant to reaching the masses with biblical principles in their current cultural, relational and societal experiences and challenges.
Leadership Certification Ministry provides leadership training and development designed to strengthen the ability of the leader to lead, the increase the overall healthiness within the total church body leadership structure, and to assist in the development of a leadership philosophy support the mission of the IBC church.
S.H.A.P.E. Ministry exists to administer a ministry gifts inventory designed to assist the believer in defining their strengths that relate to ministry and service in the local church and global mission in the world. The purpose of S.H.A.P.E. is to highlight areas of strength based on what motivates you spiritual and enable the member to pinpoint areas of ministry for which they are S.H.A.P.E [d] and gifted to serve.
Sunday School exists to provide an educational setting conducive to the study of God’s Word. We endeavor to develop disciples of Jesus Christ by teaching God’s Word and the doing of God’s will. The Sunday school strives to provide the necessary tools to promote spiritual growth among believers and nonbelievers of all ages from preschool through senior citizens.
Tender/Tough Care Ministry seeks to create genuine community connections with 10-12 people who intentionally encourage one another through fellowship (membership) bible study (maturity/discipleship); personal stewardship (ministry); service projects (missions) and prayer and worship (missions).
VBS Outreach functions as the evangelistic outreach arm of the Sunday school ministry. Offered during the summer, this outreach strives to incorporate the teaching of the Word of God with the incorporation of interactive methods, such as crafts, drama, and play to involve the entire family in a week-long study and fellowship. Specifically targets the community and the unchurched.
